Williams gunsmithing department has added many new services
with the help of our talented gunsmithing staff.
Barrel installation is available
with any available caliber, and by using the highest quality barrels
like Hart, Shilen and Pac-Nor, we have been able to obtain proven
extreme accuracy.
We offer Williams Guide Series and Weatherby muzzle brakes.
We feel these brakes are the finest visually and the most effective
brakes on the market.
Complete engraving services are available.
Quality rebluing services have
always been a mainstay and Williams continues to offer new finishes like
a bead blast fine matt finish and rust bluing process for double
shotguns.
Custom stocks by Williams service
supervisor, Kevin Wigton, are slow, time consuming work, but worth the
wait.
Williams also offers drop in stock installations
from HS Precision, McMillan, Bell and Carlson, Butler Creek and MPI.
These stocks can be finished in less time than a total custom gun.
Williams Service Department is a warranty repair center
for Browning, Remington, U.S. Repeating Arms Company, Inc. and Weatherby.
NOTE: When disassembly is required, all guns will be test fired at a labor
rate of $5.00 per gun plus ammo used.

SHIPPING YOUR FIREARM
TO OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT
It is legal, under Federal law, to ship a personal firearm to a licensed dealer such as
Williams Gun Sight for repair purposes without obtaining licensing. However, the
repaired firearm must be returned to the same address from which it was received.
You should check with the shipping service, such as UPS,
that you intend to use, as their policies vary in regard to shipping
firearms. Shotguns and rifles may be shipped by the US Postal Service, per
the Domestic Mail Manual(Sec.11.3).
Clearly label the box containing your firearm with our name and address as
follows:

Be sure to use adequate packaging materials when shipping your firearm.
Make sure the firearm is unloaded and do not ship any live ammunition
with the firearm.
